It is mountainous in the continental part oif it, and the mentalities between continental Greece, and the islands are different, since the islands were more opened to the exterior world because of their sea activities..
Yes, the part c of your question may be true..But we also have the Ionian sea which had another culture, more influenced by the venetians and the genovese...</description>
