Most students in Athens make it with about 800 euros every month (300-400 for flat rent and 100 for electricity-phone bills) IF they don't go shopping like crazy of course!! haha! I assume you are a UK student. Like most capitals Athens is more expensive than the rest of Greece and the exchange rate is not too good. It will still be cheaper than here.
