We're a bunch of friends visiting Greece for the first time.. What islands do you recommend that we surely make sure that we see? We are all between the ages of 25 - 30 and are meeting for a reunion from different parts of the world.

Cheap Beach Holidays.

Mykonos is known as the party island so would be good for a young group like yours.

Also Santorini and Crete. Both really beautiful islands with a lot to see and do!

I would go to Lindos in Rhodes,it is lovely, enough nightlife with plenty of bars and resturants but not tacky ,lovely beach. Lots of sightseeing , day trips toTurkey and boat trips.

Or Skiathos – any resort is easy to get to Skiathos town, only problem is Skiathos is a small island so maybe not the easiest to get to, although direct flights from the UK.

Lefkas is simply amazing! stay in Nidri, lively but not tacky ,wonderful harbour and fab restaurants, up market as it is popular with the yachting.

Mykonos , is great very busy and fantastic beaches, but it is also more expensive and it is popular with the gay and tranvistites during the summer – having said that i went there with my hubbie and had a blast! but accommodation and eating and drinking wasa lot more than other Greek islands, not great if you are buying rounds!

Have fun, and also check what month you are going, Rhodes has the best sunshine record from may – october – but the others are more from mid june to mid september!

    xx

Come to Corfu. It is THE best. There is the best clubbing atmosphere in the world. i have been to ibiza and falaraki and they don’t compare to Corfu. On top of that, in the capital, Corfu Town (As it is known in English) has all the best high street shops and designer boutiques as well as a large shopping center. The clubs are very slick and modern without the price tag. Alcohol is pretty much FREE. I went into a bar the other day and was given two free Raki’s and a bottle of ouzo.

I love the Pine forests and golden beaches. Some of the country side is very English actually.

You should go and see Santorini.

I would recomend Rhodes…it is the largest of all the islands and has great food, shops and nightlife.
however if your looking for the opposite, and just want to chill out i would recomend kastelorizo…it is the smallest populated island and the town is situated around a large harbour, there is a hotel/resort place there and also a bar.
but all greek islands are beautiful and whichever you choose im sure you will love it
